Seaside Kingdom Power Moons – Super Mario Odyssey Guide

Welcome to our 8th Super Mario Odyssey kingdom walkthrough video, as we head to the beach in our Seaside Kingdom moons walkthrough. When you land, everything appears to be pretty tranquil in Seaside Kingdom, but when you chat with the local snail dudes you’ll find out that a Bowser minion Octopus has taken control of the local supply of fizzy water. That leads into the main challenge of the level, which is to knock him off his perch and kick him out of the tropical idyll, while also collecting enough Power Moons to make it to the next kingdom.

To do this, you’ll need to get to each of the buttons to unblock the Bowser stoppers that have corked up the fizz supply. The first one is fairly easy, as you just head up the boulder path to the right of The Odyssey, avoiding the rolling rocks along the way. When you get to the top, you’ll get the first of the Seaside Kingdom moons, and also gain access to switch number 1.

However, when you hit it, not only does it free up the first fizz pipe, but it also hits the octopus boss on the head, which sends it into a rage. It’ll fire out lava to protect the second of the switches, which will make your job a little bit more difficult. As such, you’ll need to take over one of the jet squirters with Cappy to be able to clear the lava and head up out to sea in front of the first moon. When you clear the lava, it’ll reveal another of the Power Moons and give you access to the second switch.

The third is located at the top of the lighthouse on the other side of Seaside Kingdom and you’ll need to dive into the underwater tunnel out in front of it to get to it. After this, you’ll need to get another jet squirter to launch you up to the fourth and final switch out in the middle of the bay. When you hit it, the octopus boss will be knocked off the central fizzy water chamber and you’ll need to take it on. You’ll need to shoot jets of water from the squirters down onto its head to do any damage, and you’ll also need to trap it against the rocks to hold it in place. Once you’ve done this you’ll get the multi moons, taking your tally up to seven. Relive the golden era: Play dr mario snes rom game online instantly.

There’s another moon under the purple Dorry and you’ll be able to grab two in the rocket challenge you can get to with a squirter from the beach. This will free you up to leave Seaside Kingdom and head out for the next challenge.
